What are the relationships between monetization, sexualization and objectification?

What status do images of the body have with regard to their gratuitousness or not?

An iconography qualified as « fairy-trash », crossing mysticism and capitalism – in content density.

Šta je za tebe zajednički jezik mladih?

I think the language in common for the young people today has something to do with speed. Something you decrypt as quickly as a meme or you dance as fast as speedcore music. And we all gather around Irony.

Kako izgleda proces nastanka jednog tvog rada?

I spend a lot of time on  the Internet, reading on topics linked to my work without making differences of value wether it comes from a shit post page or a theoretical book. I write, screenshot and save images. Then I start composing my artworks with this material. I also spend a lot of time with people around me to discuss, share and exchange.

A lot of my artworks contain nudity and as the Internet had become an important space to exhibit your work, I often face censorship issues. This is really problematic for me because I use nudity as a way to stand against sexualization and objectification of the bodies. When my work is censored it shows that some systems keep on sexualizing nudity, increasing control and repression. That also questions how « public » is the Internet place

I consider myself as being part of a group of artists, which includes my friends and other people I don't know. Together we all creates projects that influence each other ones. For me, an artist is more like a flow than an individual.

Koji je tvoj beg od stvarnosti? Imaš li uopšte potrebu za begom?

I don't feel a need to escape from anything.

Šta za tebe znači biti inovativan?

For me "innovative" is related to a state of mind. It means not fixing your ideas on things in order to be ready to see changes when they arrive. Staying fluid in my thoughts helps me to analyze situations and accept ideas from others.

In Brussels where I live, we started to run an artist space in October 2020 called Atelier Saegher. We invite young artists to show their work and meet new practices. This collaborative way of making and exhibiting art is for me really important in the future. It gives you strength and shows you can also do things without the help of institutions, if you are together.

My friends have a lot of influence on me. I pay a lot of attention to their works and their critics on mine. I also really like to watch people's works in art schools. Those places aren't yet linked to an economical system and you can feel it in the work of most of the students. There is something more free and experimental in what they do.

Kako bi opisao/la mladu srpsku kulturno-umetničku scenu?

Esoterica internet, post-irony, group chat, content density.

My creative process is linked to the body and the being together, so it gives me empowerment and subversive power. Also I feel like the more I perform, the more political my works become. This too is probably due to situations some of the people I know go through and that I want to integrate in my process as a way of resisting.
